I am an image-maker and a colorist. As an image-maker I am drawn to a wide variety of subjects, and a wide variation in the handling of those subjects. The world is full of an unlimited supply of things to paint; I have never been able to restrict myself to a narrow range of subjects. As a colorist, I continuously use a variety of color combinations, seldom two the same, to show my subjects.
To me art is a celebration. It should inspire wonder, please the eye and the soul, and if possible, make the viewer think about the meaning and richness of both our inner world and our outer visual world.
